This second book of the series continues to tell the tale of the new Pleasure associate's learning the ropes at the La Petite Mort Club. Not a bubbly nothing but erotica storyline here though. I strongly suggest if you haven't read the first book to do so first, this is not very stand alone. That being said the author continues doing a first rate job and won't disapoint. Desiree is determined to make something of her life, she is willing to work hard, make money and then live comfortably.....all on her own. No man is needed in her life. We follow Desiree on her new career path where the first evening was a dream with Lee. Night two is something else. Her nights of firsts continues as Desiree is determined to not become her mother. With this book I struggle a little bit cause how harsh some of the characters were but I love how strong the women is! She doesn’t let them see her down and no matter what so far stands her ground with who gets to be with and what they get to do her. There is a lot steamy scenes plus this book can be read in a few hours too. I’m looking forward to what happens next for this strong badass women!.
