Well, Baby is finally here, although unexpectedly. Harker and Alison are on their way to a baby shower at her mother’s when pain starts and Alison, thinking it is Braxton Hicks, again, and not wanting to disappoint her mother, tries to ignore it until, ‘pop’ her water breaks and baby Irene arrives. But things go badly for Alison and she is rushed in for surgery giving Harker time to spend with his little daughter. When Alison returns she announces that she is moving back home with her mother, but Estelle has other ideas and invites Harker to come and live with them as a family. Alison is still fighting the marriage and Harker is served with divorce papers. Alison’s main complaint, even though she loves him, is that “he doesn’t respect” her “enough to let” her “make” her “own choices. But Harker steps up to look after Irene. He too is getting no sleep and often jumps the gun to get up and feed or change her even though Alison doesn’t want him to. She has to show him that she can look after the baby without his help. But she soon sees a change in him from moody and abrupt to tender and calm and she finally stops complaining and lets him share in baby duties. But the divorce is still on the table. Did she do the right thing in pushing this through and why is Harker reluctant to sign? Finally the end to an intense and haunting story. I love this author’s writing. You never know what you are going to get. Is she going to be funny? Is she going to be serious? Is she going to be kinky? You, the reader, don't know till you are so invested in the book that you have to see it through. I am still in love with Harker and even more so after this book. You can almost feel each change in his character, from irritable and grumpy to compliant and ingenuous. Even though he has not known love in his life he is able to give it and so he does. This was a feel-good book. My favourite in any book is the teasing chit-chat and there was plenty between Alison and Harker. And the dialogue between Ethan and Harker as they play the “It is/It is not” game is comical. Ellis O. Day is an expressive author who builds her characters on their personality and wit, and they reveal a story that establishes mood and meaning. I loved this series and will keep all of Harker’s personal traits close to my heart.

I really enjoyed book 2 in the Billionaire's Baby Book series by Ellis O. Day. Allison and Harker are so in love with each other but they just can't admit it. I was glad to learn why Harker is the way he is. It certainly explains his difficulty in having a true and honest relationship. At the same time I wanted to shake them both. And that cliffhanger had me left me screaming at my kindle. Cannot wait for book 3!

It seems that all Alison and Harker do is fight and have sex, very very hot sex, if only they would tell each other how they really feel. Oh, they also work a lot at least Alison does. I know Harker has screwed up, but I feel sorry for him and I am on his side in so far as wanting a relationship with Alison I’m just not sure why. I do like Alison, I just want them to be together. As I read this story, I laugh out loud and it so refreshing to read something that is so much fun even if I am not sure I will survive having to wait for a happy ending through two more books but I know Ellis O. Day won’t let me down.
