Very interesting plot, considering how vrykolys can't feel a lot nor do they have need for physical affections. This is the one of the couples I'd love to hear more about. This 1 book doesnt feel like it's enough anymore. I'd gladly buy a sequel for this couple. There's just so much to explore about a being connected to space dating a human.

This is my absolute favourite of the "Big Sky" series. First, there's Ivan & how the physiology & culture of the vrykoly have warped his sense of self-worth. Second, there's the wonderfully alien planet on which most of the action is set; I think this is the first book under the Intergalactic Dating Agency branding which is *not* set on Earth. Third, there's the real sense of threat maintained throughout. & fourth, there's the sensuality of Ivan's sexual & emotional awakening. Elsa Jade raises the usual sex scenes to something almost holy, here. Some may find it *too* poetical but I liked it.

It was great to find out that even Ivan, who wasnt supposed to be able to mate, could find love and know there was more to the universe than wanting to become a part if the void. Lovely story and love all the Intergalactic Dating stories so far!
