I found the book to be an honest memory of Elvis' last years through the eyes of his fiancée. I think it would be hard to get any closer in understanding the personal side of Elvis during his last years than the view that is given in this book. Also the book makes a great effort in correcting some of the untruths said about Elvis and his friends. I give full 5 stars to this book also because Ginger Alden is a writer who uses old- and new media wisely to promote her book and even to discuss about it with readers. On the whole all this (the book, how it is being presented, and some of Elvis' possible ideals in life that come understood through the book) seems to be about supporting something that we could call a common good: that is just what the world still needs!

Ginger Alden is an actress and model, known for her role on the daytime soap opera Capitol. She was also featured in a number of television shows including Hollywood Beat and Life Goes On. A spokeswoman for the Claridge Hotel and Casino, Ginger also starred in more than 100 television commercials and had a successful modeling career for such products like Clairol, Vidal Sassoon, Maybelline, Aziza, Avon, and Viriginia Slims.
