I hate the fact that you cant use the flowing text. It irks me, i dont like the scanned pages at all. It's a good book over all...

Not a likeable person in the lot, and Heathcliff is downright evil... but still somehow compelling. Beyond the story itself, it is a fascinating window into life in the past.

Some stories are old friends whose themes never lose their thrill. A ghost story, a love story ... but more than this the story of a controlling, jealous, abusive man who seeks control over everyone he ever comes into contact with because he can never control Catherine Earnshaw. His obsession with her colours his every waking thought to the point of destroying the future generations. Heathcliff is no romantic hero, no Mr Darcy intent on doing right. The real love story belongs to those who survive him.
