About this ebook

Delia flees Sandy Bay with a secret she can’t share. She left behind the carefree life that young people enjoy in the coastal town. She also left behind the man she loves, resolutely forging a future and career in the city.

Work draws her back to the town in which she grew up, forcing her to confront her past and the people who shaped it. Some facts are easily manipulated, and not all actions are honourable. She can’t hide the truth from Ben any longer, but there are surprises in store for both of them.

As one door in her life closes, another opens in the form of a new business opportunity, potentially bringing them closer together. She hadn’t counted on the changing family dynamics when she planned this move.

Will she give Ben a second chance, or will the fallout tear them apart?

About the author

Emily Hussey has lived in several Australian states, and that experience has provided useful backdrop for some of her novels. She spent her twenties in Alice Springs, which became the setting for the Red Centre Series. She now resides on the coast in the city of Adelaide, and is exploring the writing options in every café in walking distance.

Emily was a marriage celebrant for 24 years, and has married couples in many different locations, ranging from private gardens, to beaches, to caves, or rural locations. Many of her clients remain friends to this day. She usually writes with Iris, a black and white cat at her elbow, demanding her share of attention. Writing tends to be fuelled with regular coffee boosts, and occasional squares of very dark chocolate.
