For the past decade I have been unable to complete any novel, I have shuffled through every genre possible to no avail. However, not only did I finish this lovely story - I could not put it down and read it in its entirety over the course of one night! Emma Chase has created beautiful characters with depth. They feel like real people, described on paper. Even with a character who is truly wrapped in the glow of myths, Ms. Chase has made him "real" by including his version of events and thought processes not only the way he is seen by our leading lady (as a god). Often times this is where it usually drops off for me. Yes, I want to be wrapped in a fantasy but not one that I find to be implausible such as a man who is the manifestation of a dream husband/lover in which our heroine already decribed in the first chapter prior to meeting. Royally Yours was charming to say the least and I would highly recommend it for your next reading adventure!

What utter perfection Royally Yours is to read. Reading about Lenora as a young woman was the icing on the royal cake made with Chocolate sublime. We meet Lenora as a teenager following her father as he attends to his royal duties. From an early age Lenora has known she was going to be the first queen to rule Wessco. Spending very little time being a young girl, so it was beautiful reading about her relationship with Thomas and his brother Prince Edward. Thomas being her first friend had a positive influence by teaching her to be young. This was such a pleasure reading about this woman who we know from previous books as the family’s matriarch. This is a five-star read as a beautiful story of heartbreak and finding love and joy. After reading the other books makes this so much more.

Royally Yours is a short, sweet and sexy read that screams of romance and girl power. I enjoyed reading where it all began. Lenora has been groomed to become queen ever since she was young. She was a lonely creature and wasn't really prepared until she had no choice. Good thing, she was surrounded by good people. I adore her friendship with Thomas, they formed a bond ever since the both of them were introduced to each other. Their loneliness brought the two of them together. Thomas brought life into her, and introduced her to loads of things, and in exchange, she became one of his closest friends. When she finally became queen, she was forced to marry to strengthen her reign. She didn't expect to marry the man whom Thomas just talked to her about. A man who loves adventures and was never really home for a long time, except now. Because he has a promise he needed to keep. And that promise brought the two of them together. It was a perfectly-paced romance - the attraction was already there when they first met. But the love? Emma Chase's readers would witness how it would grow, and how it made the already-strong queen, stronger, with the man by her side. There wasn't so much drama (thank goodness!) just enough to spice things up a bit. Royally Yours quick read that would make you swoon and would make your day.
