This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 14th International Conference on Industrial and Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Export Systems, IEA/AIE 2001, held in Budapest, Hungary in June 2001. The 104 papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from a total of 140 submissions.
