The whole series was really good from start to finish. I would have given it a 4 to 4.5 stars out of 5 if the ending of this book had been the way it is. The ending felt really rushed, and you don't really get any details of what happens to the rest of the world. The worst part is they leave Arc and Ariane's potential relationship status. I felt really let down by the rushed and cut off ending of this book. other then the ending the book and whole series was great. If another book comes out with these missing parts I'll definitely change my rating.

up until this I would have given the series 4.5 stars. once you read you may agree with me that this particular author is an evil tease. . . unless another novel does actually come out
