Keeps ratcheting up the tension and the stakes Fiona, the now double grieving real estate agent, finally starts to see some results from Alex, police detective and former lover, in regards to her father’s death; even though he is not directly on the case. As the story progresses some fences are mended, there are still more unanswered questions than answered, and the secrets from the people surrounding her keep piling up. W.L. Knightly keeps ratcheting up the tension and the stakes as the story evolves in Entwined Pair. I had some thoughts as to the killer, but now I’m not sure if I am on the right track. I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

Jack is trying to get Fiona to sell him the warehouse property that is in a remote location. Jack convinces Juarez the deal for the warehouse is all but done. Fiona finds out things are not what they seem and does not know who she can really trust. They are meeting at the warehouse property and Fiona shows up and puts Jack in an uncomfortable position. This ends in a cliff hanger leaving you wanting to read more.

Definitely a page turner. The ending had me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what happened to Jack. Still curious about what Alex is hiding, and was hoping to get more details in this book, but overall, great read. Another series that definitely feels like I'm watching a movie. Impatiently waiting on the next book.
