Eon--the award-winning crossover fantasy that soars!

Sixteen-year-old Eon has a dream, and a mission. For years, he's been studying sword-work and magic, toward one end. He and his master hope that he will be chosen as a Dragoneye-an apprentice to one of the twelve energy dragons of good fortune.

But Eon has a dangerous secret. He is actually Eona, a sixteen-year-old girl who has been masquerading as a twelve-year-old boy. Females are forbidden to use Dragon Magic; if anyone discovers she has been hiding in plain sight, her death is assured.

When Eon's secret threatens to come to light, she and her allies are plunged into grave danger and a deadly struggle for the Imperial throne. Eon must find the strength and inner power to battle those who want to take her magic...and her life.

I'm almost 300 pages into the book and nothing exciting has happened. I've been told to keep on reading but the book just goes too much into detail and just keeps dragging on. Sure there was a few parts so far that are and were good, but not enough action, some awkward topics are discussed in the book, and its just so boring. If I do finish it, I'll try to write an updated review if I remember too.

So when i tried to get my refund for it, it said it was being set up but i never recieved it and on top of it all they took the book back. I found this book to be great! It does have some parts where the description drags on and you feel like skipping, but the hardships and time period described makes it work with the different culture and other ideas the Alison Goodman came up with. If you're looking for a character that doesn't feel any sense of belonging, and has to manipulate her way through politics just to survive; this is the book for you!
