About the author

Gerald Ziedenberg is a retired Pharmacist who became a Historian later in life.Following his retirement from a highly succesful career in retail pharmacy,he embarked on a fifteen-year journey that eventually led to a Master's degree in Modern Jewish History.Along the way he earned a scholarship as the best part-time graduate History student.Gerald has written and lectured for over twenty years on Modern Jewish History speaking to numerous synagogues and organizations in Canada, theUnited States and Israel. A focus of his lectures has been fameous trials in Jewish Histiory.l.In addition to his autobiography Inspiration through Adversity,Gerald has also written a book Blockade about Jewish immigration to British Mandate Palestine.
