I loved this book because it was cleverly written and held an engaging plot. I always liked sci-fi novels with pragmatic scientific theory infused into the story. Binary System had the right balance of astrophysics and compelling story. I also liked the way the sentient alien species were depicted. Another great part of the story was the dynamics between the human protagonist and her AI companion. Very smart ideas throughout! I highly recommend this book for its fast paced action.

The writing style harks back to the Heinlein and Asimov classics. A good action packed story that leaves you wanting more.
