Things are not what they seem. Della gets a job for a few weeks, DNA contracting, to work and tour with Van Claybourne. She discovers there is Van is the front man. Bax, the twin, writer of all the the music and lyrics hiding away on the tour bus and there is carefully orchestrated planning which ensures they are never seen together Della and Bax develop a relationship as they become close when he discovers she writes poetry. All is well until his longstanding girlfriend suddenly turns up. From thereon things become a little strange..an impromptu wedding that is not wanted, Bax's indecision and behaviour. A marriage, a break up, a reconciliation, a change of direction, heartache and disappointment.
