It's been a while since my teenage years but the Backstage Pass series took me back there for a brief visit. First crush, first love, first heartbreak are all relived though the pages of this awesome series. Talk about living vicariously. I'm not ashamed to admit Aimee, Mia, Daisy, Anya and Abby had me wishing for those days of carefree fun.

I wrote separate reviews for each of the five books in the series. Although I like the idea behind the stories, overall they lack depth and emotion. None of the characters seem to be sentimental about their virginity; losing one's virginity doesn't seem to be a big deal to any of them.

Ophelia London - Ophelia London was born and raised among the redwood trees in beautiful northern California. Lisa Burstein - Lisa Burstein is a tea seller by day and a writer by night. She received her MFA in Creative Writing from the Inland Northwest Center for Writers at Eastern Washington University. She is also the author of Pretty Amy, The Next Forever and Dear Cassie. She lives in Portland, Oregon with her very patient husband, a neurotic dog and two cats.

Rebekah L. Purdy - Rebekah Purdy grew up in Michigan, where she spent many late nights armed with a good book and a flashlight. When not hiding at her computer and getting lost in her stories, she enjoys reading, singing, soccer, swimming, football, camping, playing video games and hanging out with her family.
