Erin J. Steen wurde im Herbst 1983 in Niedersachsen geboren. Dort lebt und arbeitet sie auch heute wieder, nachdem sie einige Jahre in verschiedenen Orten im In- und Ausland verbracht hat. Sie liebt große Städte, möchte aber nicht mehr längere Zeit in einer Großstadt leben. Das Haus teilt sie mit einem Mann, einer Tochter und und zwei tierischen Gefährten.
