Lew Nikolajewitsch Graf Tolstoi, geboren am 28. August in Jasnaja Poljana bei Tula und gestorben am 7. November in Astapowo, Gouvernement Rjasan, war ein russischer Schriftsteller. Seine Hauptwerke ›Krieg und Frieden‹ und ›Anna Karenina‹ sind Klassiker des realistischen Romans.
