About the author

Esra Gizem O. was born in Düsseldorf in 1991, into the heart of a conservative household, where dreams were often stifled by the weight of tradition. Yet, within the confines of her upbringing, a fiery imagination burned, yearning for expression.

From a tender age, Esra Gizem harbored a clandestine passion for the fantastical, weaving intricate tales of dystopian worlds that danced vividly in her mind. But these dreams, these flights of literary fancy, remained locked away, hidden from prying eyes, for fear of reproach and rejection.

As she blossomed into her teenage years, the urge to unleash her creativity grew ever stronger. In the solitude of her room, by the soft glow of moonlight filtering through curtains drawn tight, Esra Gizem poured her soul onto the page. Each stroke of the pen birthed new realms of imagination, each word a testament to her longing for freedom of expression.

But alas, these creations remained confined to the pages of her notebooks, unseen by all but their creator. For in a world where conformity reigned supreme, the idea of deviating from the norm was met with skepticism and scorn.

And so, Esra Gizem's literary ambitions remained but a whisper in the wind, a silent cry for recognition in a world deafened by tradition. Yet, despite the odds stacked against her, the flame of her creativity continued to burn brightly, a beacon of hope amidst the darkness of conformity.
