There is sooooo much I could say about this book! But, I can't give it away! The one thing that really spoke to my heart with both characters was how they each deal with such traumatic moments in their lives. They could easily stop, and give up. But, instead, they fight against what is trying to keep them down and keep going. Their journey is not easy, nor is it for the weak-hearted. There were so many emotions pulled out of me with this one. I laughed, I cried, I got mad, laughed some more, cried some more, and repeat! Ugh, I'm getting all teary again, just thinking about them! If you're looking for insta love, light-hearted and smooth sailing, this isn't the book for you. If you want suspense, emotional rollercoaster, bravery, strength with a dash of somewhat insta love and a sprinkle of darkness, then grab this one! Run with it, hide in the corner and read it in one shot. As a long-time fan of the original series, it was seriously awesome to have a few instances of "visiting" old friends. They added the perfect amount of nostalgia to pull you in and get a reminder of their own stories. It's such a seamless transition, and it fit so well. You can see the love Esther has for these characters. It's an amazing read and the best one in the series yet. So excited to see what happens next with Austin and Jersey!!!!
