This book is apart of a series, however, it can be read as a standalone. Jagger is the MC Prez, Vampires division and he's one bad mamajama! Good lortttt that man is sexy, alpha, strong, surprisingly emotional and not someone I'd like to make angry! He's been thrown into the midst of a super paranormal war of the possible apocalyptic kind! He's waited centuries for his one true love, the mate who will capture his heart and become his. When he finds her, it wasn't what he expected. Tessara has lived her entire life as a human. She never knew the paranormal side of the universe. She's thrust into the same war, changed irrevocably and by the way, she found her mate?! She's on a rollercoaster of extremes falling on her emotions to help her process her new life, her new family and an impossibly sexy man who can make her world a better place. Together they battle, they amend, they love and become stronger. Neither one of them expected the absolute chaos that surrounds them. Look, if you're wanting the normal PNR book to read, this one isn't it. In fact, for me it's unlike any other PNR I've read! Take what you know about the paranormal fictional world, throw in some epic elite hierarchy, a few spellbound creatures and you have a book that will make you go back in for a second read right after! This is the very best book Esther has written to date. No joke, I started the series over again just to process it better. Phenomenal book! Grab your magic carpet and follow where this world leads, but hold on tight! It's going to be a heck of a journey!

I have read other paranormal series .. But this by far is on of the best i have ever read .. Love that the females have the floor ,, sorry the third in this series is not on google play.. I would recommed this read
