David Eng is a principal adviser at the Tertiary Education Commission in New Zealand. He is a former professor in philosophy at Victoria University of Wellington and a former assistant professor at California State University–Bakersfield. His areas of research include epistemology, social epistemology, philosophy of mind, aesthetics, and philosophy of evaluation. Jonathan Boston is a professor of public policy and the director of the Institute of Policy Studies at the School of Government, Victoria University of Wellington. He has published widely in the fields of public management, tertiary education, social policy, comparative government, New Zealand politics, and climate change policy.
