Univ.-Prof. Dr. (i. R.) Friedrich Wallner, geb. 21. Juli 1945 in Weiten, Niederösterreich, ist ein österreichischer Philosoph und Wissenschaftstheoretiker.

Nach dem Besuch des Bundesrealgymnasiums in Tulln studierte Wallner an der Universität Wien zunächst Philosophie, klassische Philologie, Psychologie und Germanistik.

Er arbeitet als Vertreter des "Konstruktiven Realismus" auf den Gebieten der Wissenschaftstheorie und Epistemologie. Er erhielt den Theodor-Körner-Preis der Republik Österreich.
