This novel can easily be described in one word – HOT! Langlais has once again created a vibrant tale full of realism and sizzling relationships with enough comedy to keep you glued to the pages. Langlais’ story was absolutely hilarious but never over the top. At the same time, she develops her unique brand of shifters and mates in such a manner that they become real for the reader while transporting them into a story that will keep them glued to the pages. Langlais develops characters (and relationships) to die for. Not only would they die for one another, but they’re the type of people that readers would die to get to know (or to be in a relationship with). Our main trio was a lot of fun to get to know. I loved how different each of the characters were. The diversity of personalities fit together quite well and also helped to explain the ease with which they all came together. Langlais truly allows readers to see inside the characters’ minds. Her reasoning for things really explained how she thought and why she was fighting herself, not wanting to give into her desires. I also thoroughly enjoyed the family dynamic that we got to know as well. They added body and fun to the story while highlighting the alpha tendencies of shifters. This novel was well plotted and executed, making it enjoyable from cover to cover. Langlais’ unique brand of writing really shines through as her phenomenal characters take over your life for a short while.

All us ladies want to be treated like someone special and important by our guys no matter how tough and independent we are. Gallantry is NOT a dead art. But hey, nothing also beats a little rough and kinky play. Definitely a book to wet you with action, intrigue, and hot romance!

when I first started this book, I almost put it down as it seemed as if it would be 'hard ball' all the way through. It ended up much more interesting. There was softness and emotion mixed with a hard coating. I was hooked. I loved the play between the three main characters.
