About this ebook

A USA Today Bestseller  featuring a Hero with Antlers

A bullheaded moose doesn’t stand a chance when a fox decides to make him her mate.

Boris left to defend his country still a boy. He came back a changed man. A damaged man.

But Jan still wants him.

A man of few words, Boris has a firm way of saying No, but a determined vixen knows he’s her mate. Jan has not had much success in getting her bullheaded moose to notice her, but all that changes when her life is put in danger.

Suddenly the damaged soldier keeps finding excuses to come to her rescue, but as far as Jan is concerned, her mate is the one in need of saving.

It will take some subtle maneuvering to outfox her moose into admitting he loves her, but this wily vixen is more than ready for the challenge. And if that doesn’t work, momma’s offered to loan her the shot gun used for her own engagement.

Welcome to Kodiak Point, where the wildlife might wear clothes, but animal instinct rules the heart.

Even though this is the second book of a series it is still a self-contained story. But still enhanced by reading the first book but not mandatory. I love the humor and conflicts within this story. Lots of action going on with some loving in-between. I loved Jan’s parents. Awesome character interplay throughout the book. I also enjoy how the author doesn't stick to just one breed of shifter either in the group or in the mating’s. Kept my interest thru to the end. Well written and very entertaining to read. I was given a free copy for an honest review.

This novel was action packed from the get-go. The slight overlap with the previous novel gave me a sense of continuity. Langlais writes vivid descriptions that bring both the scenery and the characters to life. I felt as if I’d been transported to Kodiak Point alongside these vivid individuals. She also worked in a twist on SEALs that gave me more than a few giggle-snort moments. Langlais sure knows how to crank up the heat in a relationship. Langlais makes her characters so personal and vividly real. A certain fox-lady definitely drew my attention. She was absolutely priceless in the best of ways. Boris’ bullheadedness was a blast. It stood up very well against Jan’s ‘take no prisoners’ attitude. Langlais has once again created a suspenseful yet erotically satisfying novel that held my attention from cover to cover. This is one tale that I wouldn’t hesitate, even for a second, to recommend to others.

Another great read from Ms. Langlais! Adored Jan's attitude and gumption. Boris was dreamy with his tortured soul. Loved Jan's parents too! The writing is witty and fun, and the action gripping. The euphemism and quips kept me laughing. Can't wait to read Gene's story!
