About this ebook

The Southerland men should come with a warning label…

With her career imploding and a family history that reads like a trashy tabloid, Autumn Maddox can’t afford any more disasters if she wants to hold her head up high when she returns to her old home town. So she’s going to do the impossible—smile brightly at every “bless your heart,” ignore the not-so-subtle digs, and pretend the town’s sexiest bachelor is a monk. Well… two out of three isn’t bad, right?

Dr. Jude Southerland doesn’t care which side of the tracks Autumn came from. She’s smart, gorgeous, and everything he didn’t realize he wanted in a woman. And no, he doesn’t give a hot damn what his family, his best friend, or the Ladies’ Auxiliary thinks. The last woman anyone would pair him with is the only one he wants.

Jude’s determined to be her knight in shining armor, but Autumn gave up on happily ever after, small southern towns, and herself a long time ago. It’s going to take more than sweet tea and sweet talk to convince the woman of his dreams that their love is meant to be.

This book thrilled me to the very core! The chemistry between the characters was clear even from just reading it! They were witty and interesting and lively and not filled with weird fake drama. Plus there's an adorable little girl involved! All of the relationships in this book were beautiful: mother/daughter, sisters, lovers... It was just so refreshing. Loved every second of it.

I am fascinated that such a complete complex engaging story of faith, family, and of course hot steamy abiding love is told in such a fea short pages.

About the author

Evelyn Adams lives in her own little Garden of Eden with her children and a few wayward dogs. If she's not writing steamy romances, she's chasing kids, baking or reading other authors' steamy stories.
