I really enjoyed this story. It was an emotional roller coaster. I really loved how strong and independent Eva was and how she fought for what she wanted. Noah was a dream from his work to his southern charm. The back and forth was a relatable relationship and I felt right there in the action. The spicy scenes....HOT!! Amazing story. Can't wait for more.

This story follows our fmc Eva, a city girl who is full of determination with the hopes in working for the LA times and Noah our stubborn yet very charming country boy who is the CEO of saying Darlin.. these two won over my heart from the get go with their meet cute. We have a small town romance, slow burn, Dual pov filled with tension, Angst and alot of bumps along the way. It will have you swooning, laughing, crying and maybe a little bit of hair pulling whilst these very two stubborn individuals go through their journey. Defiantly recommend.

I am voluntarily leaving a review after receiving an ARC from the author. It was good. Eva and Noah are two different worlds. Eva is Californian girl with family money. Noah is a country boy from Kentucky. Noah is running from his past heartbreak when he meets Eva in a bar in California. Eva was trying to get a way from a man who wouldn't accept the word No. Noah pretended like they were in a relationship and Eva was waiting on him. They kissed - a kiss they both felt in their souls. When Eva had to leave suddenly, they lost their chance to get to know each other or exchange numbers. Weeks later when Eva went to a dinner party at her parents house, Eva and Noah run into each other again. They quickly start dating but they forget to communicate and trust each other. This book is a little angsty. Noah allows past heartache to continue to influence his relationship with Eva. I could relate to both Noah and Eva.
