A dusky Peter Pan retelling! I'm a sucker for any Peter Pan retelling, and Losing Neverland by Brittany Montgomery is a true delight to read and one of my favorites. Brittany is an expert at weaving what you know about Peter Pan and bringing new twists and depth to the characters and the world that will leave you entranced. This is the second edition with new chapters, an extended ending, and a lighter tone than the first one and so so amazing. I want to point out that this is a darker version

I loved it. This was mostly told by Wendy, Peter/Hook who are the same person Hook is like Peter's darker character. This is a dark, twisted and bit steamy romance. There is a romance story mixed with betrayal, lies, jealousy, action, hatred and more. I was hooked right from the start, especially the last couple chapters. I read the new version and liked it. It's been a while since I read the first version but some came back and I still like how Peter and Hook are one the same.

Fairytale with a twist. It was an interesting and entertaining read. Easy to get lost in this retell of Peter Pan. I recommend the newer version has just a few changes but doesn't take away from the story. It was still a good spicy adventure.
