About this eBook

Fans of Jodi Ellen Malpas, K. Bromberg, and Joanna Wylde will be unable to resist this sexy, deeply intimate tale of a woman running from her past, and the darkly mysterious man who sets her free.

I didn’t think answering someone else’s cellphone would change my life. But the stranger with the low, deep voice on the other end of the line tempted me, awakened my body, set me on fire. He was looking for someone else. Instead he found me.

And I found a hot, secret world where I felt alive for the first time.

His name was Dylan, and, strangely, he made me feel safe. Desired. Compelled. Every dark thing he asked me to do, I did. Without question. I longed to meet him, but we were both keeping secrets. And mine were dangerous. If I took the first step, if I got closer to Dylan—emotionally, physically—then I wouldn’t be hiding anymore. I would be exposed, with nothing left to surrender but the truth. And my truth could hurt us both.

I have never read anything by M. O'Keefe before and didn't realize what I was missing. WOW! Annie McKay is on the run. She has spent her 24 years always being told what to do and how to do it and she has had enough. Trying to escape a bad situation, Annie finds herself in North Carolina, with little money and no job. She finds a trailer park with cheap rent and a job offer to do outside cleanup of the land. Once in her trailer she hears a phone ringing. She finds a phone in the trailer and decides to answer the caller identified as Dylan and is immediately taken by his deep voice. For some reason after talking to him Annie feels safe. He explains that this phone was used for watching her neighbor Ben and would she want to do it. She agrees. The two of them start communicating over the phone. He encourages her to be open and do more things that she has never done before. Their conversations were great! I loved the things these two did and said over the phone. I really loved how Dylan was able to get Annie to be more daring. Both of these two have secrets that they were keeping from each other but there just seemed to be something pulling them together. I really enjoyed all of the other characters in the story and how they were woven together. And when these two finally met face to face....BOOM! WOW! This story was very enjoyable to read and it does end on a huge cliffhanger. I love how these two lost souls may have found the missing piece to make them whole again. I can't wait to read the next book to hopefully read their happy ever after!

4.5 stars! I've been a fan of Molly O'Keefe's from the moment I read my first book by her, Crazy Thing Called Love. Her stories have always been emotionally engaging and memorable, so when the news broke she was releasing an edgier new adult duology, I knew it was going to be fantastic. Yet I still waited to read it. In a way I am glad I didn't read this book until the second book was released, because I know I would've been tortured by the wait to find out what happened in The Truth About Him. Everything I Left Unsaid is amazing. In the beginning of the book I was intrigued to find out what Annie had run away from. I hated how scared she was about whatever it was and can't tell you how happy I was when she felt safe enough to do things she was terrified of doing before. I loved Annie's determination to not let her fear take over her life and I loved how brave she was to do the things she did to get free of that fear. I loved watching her take herself back and learning about the things she liked. I also loved Annie's work ethic. That woman did not know the meaning of taking it easy. I also loved her big heart and watching her push her boundaries and the things she thought she knew. If it isn't clear yet, I really, really loved Annie. Even though Annie was growing strong mentally and physically every day, she still had moments where her vulnerability showed through. Even when she was faced with seeing a situation similar to the one she'd left and how she handled it from start to end showed how much she'd grown. You wouldn't think anyone would thrive living in a broken down trailer, but Annie did. If I loved Annie, I was head over heels for Dylan. Dylan is as broken as Annie is, but in different ways. My heart hurt for Dylan and all he'd experienced as much as I felt for Annie. While the book started off with Dylan hiding himself, I loved seeing him open up to Annie on the phone. It truly was like they recognized something in each other just from their voices and I could feel that connection through out the book. I like Dylan and Annie was always eager to see what would happen between them. I eagerly turned pages waiting to see what they'd say to each other and even reveal inadvertently. I kept hoping they'd somehow find a way to deal with everything in their lives that was keeping them apart and from opening up to each other fully. Both of them were determined to keep their secrets yet wanted the other to be honest and open. Of course it wasn't that simple. I won't share more because I want you to be as surprised by this book as I was. Reading Everything I Left Unsaid was truly an experience. This book is so much more than a romance. It's multiple journeys of discovery, not just for Dylan and Annie, but for others in the book too. There is a wonderful cast of characters you can't help but like and root for. There is plenty of heart break, angst, and emotional agony, but there's also lots of heat, compassion, and kindness. The story takes so many turns, and just when you think you've figured out what's happening, even more layers and complexities are revealed. Hats off to Molly O'Keefe for writing such an outstanding story and leaving readers frantic for more; You've been warned that this book will blow your mind and the cliffhanger at the end will have you scrambling to read the next book.

Annie has had a hard life. Her mother was a little crazy and her husband is an abuser. When Annie’s husband almost kills her, she decides to flee. While this book touches on abuse it is not overwhelming part of the story. Annie finds herself at this trashy trailer park miles away from where she lives. She agrees to work there in exchange for rent. The first day she moves in, she hears a phone ring. The only thing is, she doesn’t have one. She finds the phone, stuck between some cushions and the caller ID says “Dylan”. She cautiously answers it. On the other end is this voice, a voice she seems strangely drawn to? Dylan asks Annie to keep an eye on a resident named Ben. So of course the only way she can keep Dylan up to date is to call him. Over time their telephone conversations grow more personal. Dylan pushes Annie to open up and start asking for what she wants. This is new and scary for her. In the past, asking for what she wanted would get her hit. Soon though, their phone conversations are not enough. Annie wants to meet Dylan in person but Dylan shuts down at that point. He has a lot of secrets and inner turmoil. His is somewhat mysterious. He feels he is too dangerous and Annie is too innocent. However when danger comes to the trailer park, Annie is brought to Dylan’s place. What comes next is a lot of hotness and passion. But they both still have secrets, which tears them apart. This is a very intriguing story. I like how Annie begins to grow and gain more confidence in standing up for herself. There is only one thing I don’t like about this book and that is it ends on cliffhanger. I did not see that one coming. However, I think this book keeps you interested enough to want to read the second one. I know I do.
