Based on the widely used New International Version translation, the NIBC presents careful section-by-section exposition with key terms and phrases highlighted and all Hebrew transliterated. James K. Bruckner is professor of Old Testament at North Park Theological Seminary in Chicago and is an ordained minister in the Evangelical Covenant Church. He is the author of Implied Law in the Abraham Narrative; a commentary on the minor prophets Jonah, Nahum, Habakkuk, and Zephaniah; and numerous scholarly articles.
