This volume contains the scientific papers presented at the 2nd Conference on Comparative and International Law that was held on 24 June 2022 online on Zoom. This is an international conference. The conference is organized every year by the Society of Juridical and Administrative Sciences together with the Faculty of Law of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. The scientific studies included in this volume are grouped into three chapters: Contemporary Applicability Presentations in Comparative LawInternational Law and Its Modern Regulatory Powers and Some aspects regarding criminal challenges. This volume is aimed at practitioners, researchers, students and PhD. candidates in juridical sciences, who are interested in recent developments and prospects for development in the field of comparative and international law.

About the author

Banggui JIN

Mr. Banggui JIN is Director of the EuropeAsia Research Institute, Director of Master in Chinese Business Law and director of LLM in European Business Law at the Faculty of Law and Political Science of Aix-Marseille University. In addition to his teaching activities, his main activities are devoted to research on Chinese law, Franco-Chinese and Sino-European comparative law. He has published a large number of research papers (books, books chapters, articles) in the field of comparative law. He is director of the “IREA collection” devoted to the laws and legal systems of Asian countries within the Aix-Marseille University Press (PUAM). He has been appointed several times as an expert in projects of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the EU-GED program, the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank. He is Ph.D. supervisor of about thirty Ph.D. students who have successfully defended their doctoral thesis in law.

Cristina Elena POPA TACHE

Cristina Elena Popa Tache is specialized in international investment law and she also developed an intense legal research activity, as a scientific researcher at the Institute of Legal Research of the Romanian Academy. Cristina Popa Tache is director of the International Institute for the Analysis of Legal and Administrative Mutations – Romania and Vice-president of the European Association of Banking and Financial Law – Romania, arbitrator and mediator registered in the lists of VIAC - Vienna International Arbitral Center. She works as editor-in-chief for International Investment Law Journal and Banking and Financial Law Review, being the author of over 80 articles and scientific studies, most of them in the field of foreign investment.
