Freedom At Midnight takes the readers back in time, when India was on the verge of obtaining freedom from the British Raj. Freedom at Midnight also provides a detailed account on the events that led to Mahatma Gandhi`s assassination by Nathuram Godse. The readers are also told about the life and intents of Jawaharlal Nehru, India`s first Prime Minister and Muhammad Ali Jinnah, a strong Pakistani leader.
