Fallen Angel is the second book in a duet following Broken Saint. Since it starts exactly where that book stopped, I'd highly recommend reading it first, because otherwise you will be lost. Just like Broken Saint, the story is action-packed with lots of unexpected twists and turns. Even the HEA has a hint of things to come - maybe. An excellent read. Expect to not want to put the book down once you've started reading!

3.5 stars ... When the story picks up, we find Nova dealing with the fallout from her last encounter with Rock. But contending with Ronin’s no easy matter either. And, it seems he has his own agenda for being in Vegas. But does it also truly include marriage to her? ... Nova was all over the place in this story. Struggling to stay ahead in a game that she didn’t even realize she was a player in, she came off as naïve and out of her depth attempting to out maneuver both Ronin and her father. Consequently, she made bad decisions – or no decisions at all, while dismissing Rock’s warnings regarding the danger she was facing. Instead, she seemed more concerned with launching her latest couture collection and maintaining the public image of her brand. ... The story has plenty of drama and angst, some violence, duplicity, suspense and secrets along with several explicit encounters. ... The awesomeness continued with this duet’s conclusion! We get alternating POV’s from Nova, Rock, and Ronin as the story continues to develop and secrets are uncovered. Nova and Rock though, what they feel for each other comes straight through all the turmoil and intrigue, and that only gets stronger as time rushes past. Our couple goes through a lot to be together, to stay together, fighting all comers, and succeeding at every turn, despite the odds. This had steam, twists, turns, and, finally, an HEA, along with hints of things to come <3
