About this ebook

"A deliciously romantic thrill ride," the novel that inspired the hit Freeform series from the New York Times–bestselling author of In Five Years (Sara Shepard, New York Times–bestselling author of Pretty Little Liars).
When Paige Townsen gets plucked from high school obscurity to star in the movie adaptation of a blockbuster book series, her life changes practically overnight. Within a month, Paige has traded the quiet streets of her hometown for a bustling film set on the shores of Maui, and she is spending quality time with her costar Rainer Devon, one of People's Sexiest Men Alive. But when troubled star Jordan Wilder lands the role of the other point in the movie's famous love triangle, Paige's crazy new life begins to resemble her character's.
In this exciting tale of romance and drama, both on-and offscreen, Paige must adjust to a celebrity lifestyle while figuring out who she is—and who she wants—as the whole world watches.
"Rebecca Serle completely captured what it's like to be a part of Young Hollywood. . . . A must-read for anyone curious about life and love behind the scenes." ―Bella Thorne, actor and author of Autumn Falls
"This frothy but not frivolous drama is wish fulfillment for any teen who wants to feel the thrill of celebrity and love." — Kirkus Reviews
"A glamorous premise in a gorgeous setting, as well as an enticing romance-within-a-romance framework." — Publishers Weekly
"Just the right mix of celebrity fantasy and real-girl relatability." —Megan McCafferty, New York Times–bestselling author of Sloppy Firsts and Jessica Darling's It-List
"So much romance, so much Hollywood gossip, so much fun." ―Sarah Mlynowski, New York Times–bestselling author of Ten Things We Did (and Probably Shouldn't Have)

I started reading this book after watching the first season of the Freeform television series loosely-based on it and was hungry to know just a bit more. After reading it, I discovered three things: 1. I don't think the show writers ever got past the first chapter or two, 2. 'Locked' by Parker Witter is actually a real story, as well, and 3. Rebecca Serle is a pretty talented writer, who manages to stealthily craft in some pretty lofty concepts about responsibility, sacrifice, and commitment. Good read.
