Andrea’s had enough of clever, handsome men but the infuriatingly irresistible Dick Cheney knows what he wants and he wants her in this charming paranormal romance. The strong captivating characters of Half-Moon Hollow draws the reader into another charming story full of snark, romance and a bit of suspense as the sizzling chemistry between Dick and Andrea ignite with a single kiss and a near un-death experience rocks their world. The past has a serious hold on Andrea and on Dick although for completely different reasons which has emotional turmoil flowing from the pages and the fast paced and smooth flowing plot charms readers as the well written scenes and details capture the imagination and bring the story to life. Half-Moon Hollow is always a witty and delightful place to visit so Dick and Andrea’s story while short and sweet is an enchanting addition to the series and I can’t wait for the next visit.

I received an ARC from Netgalley via the publisher in exchange for an honest review. I have yet to read a Molly Harper book that I didn't absolutely love! Her snarkiness and characters are amazing. This was a great quick read and even though it was a short novella there was lots of humor, quirky characters, romance, and some drama thrown in.

FANGS FOR THE MEMORIES is the story of how Andrea Byrne and Dick Cheney, of the Half-Moon Hollow series, fell in love, because the fans requested it, and lucky for us that Molly Harper complied. Andrea’s parents banished her from their lives because of her undead friends. Andrea is beautiful, but lacks a bit of self-assuredness; her ex-boyfriend did a real job on her. She’s wary of romantic entanglements, most of all anything that would involve bad boy Dick Cheney, who’s dead-set on dating Andrea. Dick is charming, sexy, handsome, and undead; he also doesn’t earn his keep quite legally. The tide starts to turn in his favour when he spontaneously kisses Andrea, who for once doesn’t hit him. And when a particularly scary episode happens to Andrea, Dick shows his true colours. FANGS FOR THE MEMORIES is a perfectly charming novella, and most astonishing is that it can easily be read as a standalone, even if for a reader completely unfamiliar with the Half-Moon Hollow series. Ms. Harper’s prose is light and easy, casually elegant, the dialogues clever and witty, and the author’s fabulous sense of humour shines throughout; she had me giggling too many times to mention. The pace is lively, and it is remarkable how much is crammed in this novella; the story could easily have been expanded into a full-length novel. FANGS FOR THE MEMORIES is a most entertaining and fun read which will leave fans of the series begging for more and will surely garner Molly Harper new followers.
