I've read most of Maggie Shayne's paranormal titles, however this is the first I've read in the Fatal series. Fatal Phantasm can be read as a standalone, however I felt there was some context that I missed out on having not read the first 3 in this series. Although it's listed as a paranormal romance, the book focuses more on the ghosthunting storyline, and the romances between Jack/Kiley and Maya/Johnny are more peripheral. A good read nonetheless - I'll be picking up the first 3 books to
