Anja Schäfer, Jahrgang 1973, studierte Theologie, war Jugendpastorin und Redakteurin der Zeitschriften "teensmag" und "dran". Heute schreibt, lektoriert und übersetzt sie freiberuflich Bücher und andere Texte. Sie lebt mit Mann und Kindern in Hamburg.
