I can't write a review since after buying the book I was gold that I have finished it. Not true, I simply read the sample and now I am stuck and not allowed to read it. Oh well, only $1.06 down the drain and into Hooplas pockets.

I have always enjoyed watching or reading about a lawyer who uses the law to reveal the truth. I grew up watching Perry Mason & Matlock. It will be exciting to see what yet will come forth regarding Jake Brigance.

Short story. It feels so real. It's as if you are right there watching. I felt as is it were happening to someone right in front of my eyes. It is intense and disturbing. Excellently written. This author is a master.
