About this ebook

A professional job turns personal for jet-setting contract killer Gideon in this sexy, thrilling page-turner by New York Times bestselling author Eric Jerome Dickey.

As a hit man from the time he was very young, money, women, and danger have always ruled Gideon’s life; but for the first time, the job is taking its toll. Neither Gideon nor the city of Buenos Aires has recovered from the mayhem caused during Gideon’s last job. But before the dust has settled and the bodies have been buried, Gideon calls in backup—including the lovely Hawks, with whom Gideon has heated memories—to launch his biggest act of revenge yet...one he believes will destroy his adversary, Midnight, once and for all.

Yet Midnight and his second-in-command, the beautiful and ruthless Señorita Raven, are launching their own revenge, assembling a team of mercenaries the likes of which the world has never seen… and Gideon isn’t their only target. Gideon will need all of his skills if he is to save not only his team, but his family as well.

Dickey’s new novel stirs up a whirlwind of sex and violence that spans the globe...and leaves no moral boundary uncrossed.

EJD managed to humanize Gideon in this book. I liked how he had to make peace with the women of who's lives he affected. Until this book it was hard to view Gideon as anything more than an assassin. The details about his mother's mysterious past were revealed but not all of them. Thus, the focus on Yerres Paris where is mother was originally from and Gideon's next place to travel if EJD releases the next book in this trilogy. I've been following this series for quite some time and I don't plan today stop.

The ending seemed rushed and the Gideon series has always been so vivid with detailing where you can literally see the action by the way that he describes things. I wish it was longer and more drawn out.

I've waited so long for this I will try not to spoil this for those who haven't read it. I have always love EJD when Gideon came on the scene I was blown away. I love him everything about him. He is a warrior so I know at some point he will die and I believe he will be from the hands of his own family. The detail in this book is phenomenal the descriptions are spot on. When I read line for line I feel like I'm right there on the set of a movie. Never a disappointment when it comes to Gideon...
