What is your purpose?

Finding your purpose in the world can be a challenging pursuit. It helps to understand the greater story around you.

Whether we realize it or not, we all have an internal belief system—a worldview—which directs our thoughts and actions. Examining your personal worldview in light of God’s Master Story can strengthen your faith and clarify your purpose in this world.

Finding Your Part in God’s Master Story is an interactive study for individual or group use that explores different ways Christians view their world and encourages all Christians to have a consistent, comprehensive, and biblical worldview.

Your view of the world shapes every part of your life. It's time to take control and shape your worldview!

Examining why you believe what you believe so you can be firm in that belief is incredibly important. Author Janet Ruth takes readers on an easy to understand deep dive into worldview. She doesn’t tell you what to believe but uses exercises in story telling and countless pop culture references to help you figure it out for yourself. A very enjoyable way to approach something that can often seem daunting.

I have been a Christian since I was a teenager, but had not thoroughly examined various aspects of my belief system or worldview. This book launched me down a journey of self-examination, diving into what I believe about God, Jesus, Salvation, The Church, and more. I am eager to walk down this same path with some Christian friends so that I can learn more about what they believe and why. Finding Your Part in God's Master Story was very readable, yet I also learned phrases and ideas I had not encountered before. The context of "story" put this theological study into a relevant frame. While this book encourages introspection, it is also meant to be shared and discussed with others. If you choose to purchase a copy...I recommend you get a second so you don't have to journey through it alone.
