Getting this book drop in my inbox on Christmas Eve was a real treat. Every time I 'meet' a new couple I think they are my favourite. Logan and Smoke are following the trend. Smoke is older, calmer and has lots of experience . You can tell from his past history, being a young Dad, running with the life that he has the capability to help guide Logan and to steady the ship in her emotional turmoil. There are some serious topics and some trigger warnings which are advertised at the start. Smoke is the perfect counterpart to Logan and the age gap/BFF Dad are laid out for us. I really enjoyed this book as I do with the others But I'm waiting on my Savage book. I hope he whispers in your ear soon!!

I found this to be a sweet (yet spicy) romance that I wanted to read quicker and slower at the same time. The dynamics at play with Smoke and Logan was playful and endearing. The turmoil Logan was going through was spot on and the support she received from Smoke was heart melting. Let's talk about the spice...just wow! From their first encounter to the last, hot hot hot! Hot! But then in true Emma Slate fashion the heart pounding trauma gets you. I read until after midnight to reach my happy ending. One of my favorite things about this series is we get to look back at past characters and not everyone is happy and life is messy. But no matter what family is there for them. And lastly, I want say we need a story about Brielle's family.

This book is so full of fire and of course frenzy but so worth every word read.Smoke and Logan may be of an ave gap but you don't really sense it unless Tavy is mentioned or in the vicinity of the two. Smoke is so calm and caring while Logan is a spitfire even thoigh she may have reservations about her feelings for Smoke. However there may be some triggering scenes that should be taken seriously. But so worth the read as this biker family band together no matter what. Always good to get updates on everyone else too. Looking forward to the next biker to fall.
