Why would a Senior read a 'Young Adult' book? Maybe an attempt to travel back in time, but that isn't really possible when the world, morals and technology have changed so much over the years! I enjoyed the Fantasy aspects of this book but found the main character to be as annoying as I must have been when I was her age! Nevertheless, I did read the whole book and stayed up far too late in order to finish it. I'm sure that younger readers will empathize more than I did with the characters.

I have read a lot of books similar to this but I just feel like the writing was dull and the story line forced. It seemed to go nowhere in a hurry. For the younger reader it might be okay but this book was definitely not meant for adults. Will probably not read the second.

If you love supernatural romance then you'll love this book. It had everything , it made me want more , every pages was something new. Some surprises that were shockers I didn't see coming which made the book even more fantastic.
