About this eBook

An escaped lunatic, a panicked town, and a murder case that will challenge their sanity…

Summer has arrived in the lovely town of Clovedale Falls, and sisters Rita and Rhonda are enjoying the quiet life at their bakery. But when they stumble upon a rumour that an escaped patient from a mental asylum is closing in their town, they struggle not to get caught up in the whirlwind of panic and suspicion.

But the mental patient isn’t the only person they have to worry about… their day quickly turns from bad to worse when a dead body mysteriously appears in their own bakery.

Forced head-first into a wild roller coaster of a murder investigation, the twin sisters must use all of their wits if they want to unmask the true killer and prove their innocence. But time is running out, and the small town is eager to take the law into their own hands. If Rita and Rhonda don’t act fast, there’s no telling what could happen…

Can these sleuthing sisters unmask the silent killer lurking in their kitchen? And what will become of the escaped mental patient now hiding somewhere in Clovedale Falls?

Perfect for fans who love reading about cozy and lighthearted mystery novels that combine suspense, excitement, and all the twists and turns of a page-turning who-dun-it, Rita and Rhonda’s next adventure in Flour Day will Come is one you won’t want to miss.

Rhonda and Rita are back with another mystery at hand. This time they have to deal with it with hot weather and an criminally insane person out and about in their small town. They are fun characters and their sleuthing life and their love life combine well for an entertaining story. I found parts of this very humorous and I was really entertained. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Who Killed Tom Denmore ? . . . There is much going on in Clovedale Falls, and not much of it is good! Twin sisters Rita and Rhonda are seeing an aggressive side to the townspeople. An escaped “criminally insane” mental patient, Phil Whinnel, is also supposedly heading for town. And then Tom Denmore’s dead body is found in their bakery – but what was he doing in their kitchen?! That adds more hostility from the townspeople as they blame the sisters and are ready to impose their own kind of justice! Can Rita and Rhonda track down the real killer to take the suspicion off of them and settle everyone down? For some reason, I didn’t enjoy this story line as I have others in this series. It made me uncomfortable seeing how the town was acting and the strange background stories for some of the characters. But grab your copy and see if you can guess what might be going on.

Flour Day will Come is a cozy mystery on steroids! It has retired cops running a bakery with a dead body in the kitchen, an escaped mental patient, trigger happy citizens determined to lynch the bakery owners and more. I was delightfully swept away to Clovedale Falls and held enthralled with this fast paced, twisty whodunit! This well plotted mystery held my attention and I was sorry to reach the end.
