I liked the book but I didn't. Millie initially harbors a longtime crush for Joe. Then she realizes she is in love with her good friend/sister's ex hubby, Sam. I didn't think their was much to their courtship or whirlwind. It was more of an after thought. Call me crazy, but I wish Millie had told Sam or Danny to have his parents try it out... Let them go see if he comes back to her. Instead she ran away and Sam came looking for her. He didn't even say much. I like a little anguish. They threw the love word around pretty quickly too. While this isn't the first time for me reading this, my opinion hasn't changed over the years.... I Miss the feel good romance reads you used to write Kristan Higgins.
