About this ebook

Jake Fox is a man on a mission. Armed with a collection of mysterious letters between his late father and a stranger named Ryan, Jake wants nothing more than to unravel the enigma: Just who is this Ryan guy? But when Jake arrives in Dull, Oregon, he finds Ryan is no guy at all.

Ryan Green is just trying to get by. So while the handsome stranger who pays for her groceries intrigues her, caring for her dying mom and raising her dead sister’s daughter are all she has time for. But when the muscular handyman moves in across the street, the spark of their chemistry is difficult to ignore.

Safe in the blue-eyed beauty’s company, Jake can’t quite confront his past—or share his true purpose in Oregon. But the deeper Ryan falls, the closer their intertwined histories come to splitting them apart.

For Fox Sake is the poignant fifth book in the Fox Family romantic comedy series and can be read as a stand-alone, but the experience is definitely enhanced by starting with book one: Between a Fox and a Hard Place!

If you like witty characters, swoony moments, and grief leavened with humor, then you’ll adore  this heartfelt tale of love, loss, and the complexities of unraveling the past.

This may be the first book I’ve read by this author, but it definitely won’t be my last. I’ve already purchased several more of her books, since I enjoyed Ryan and Jake’s story so much. Jake goes to Dull, Oregon to find Ryan and find out why he was writing to his late father. Imagine his surprise when Ryan is a gorgeous woman. Jake first sees Ryan at the grocery store, in the checkout line. He pays for her groceries, when she can’t find her wallet. Ryan is caring for her dying mom and her

Terrific match for the remaining Fox sibling😍 This was definitely my favorite story in Mary Frame's Fox family series. Jake, Ryan and Ari are all great characters and the mystery Jake's set on solving gave this romance that extra something. When he finally solves the puzzle, it's such a poignant moment and it upped my emotional attachment to the plot. Both Jake and Mia have suffered the grief of the loss of a sibling cut off in their prime.
