About this eBook

“I wrote this book not to dismiss a rumor but to share something much more important: my journey to forgiveness.”

Chiquis Rivera is a singer and the daughter of the late music superstar Jenni Rivera. In Forgiveness, her memoir, Chiquis bravely reveals the abuse she suffered at the hands of her father during her childhood and the difficulties she’s faced in her personal life as a result. Despite growing up marked by the wounds of abuse, she eventually conquered her fear of love andintimacy.

The story within these pages also recounts what caused the distance between her and her mother toward the end of Jenni’s life. In Forgiveness, Chiquis brings to light truths that she wishes she had been able to reveal to Jenni.

Two years after her mother’s death, Chiquis answers the most difficult questions: Was she able to make peace with Jenni? And in this story of triumph and tragedy, who is most in need of forgiveness?

This book really jumped into detail about the life of Chiquis and how it was for her to grow up. Then, finally growing up and unfortunately losing the love of her life, the great Jenni Rivera. Her wonderful and inspiring mother. Chiquis shows bravery from childhood to adulthood, and confesses many things without hesitation. I tremendously admire her opening about the conflict between her and her mother. This really cleared up a lot of things. Those that highly doubt of Chiquis should really read this book.

my grandma was and is a big Jenni fan and told me she was reading her daughter's book she said it was very good. I'm not a fan and new only the name through my grandma and sister-in-law who is a huge fan. what I'm saying is you don't have to be a fan this compelling story is so universal to many mothers, daughters and tlife it self to feel for this story of courage, sadness, love and forgiveness and strength . it is truly an amazing story. i reaf it in two days couldn't put it down. you are inspiring
