About this ebook

The inspired book of Jeremiah is one of the most important Old Testament prophetic books. Jeremiah authored, with Baruch his scribe, a lengthy record of God’s instructions for his ministry and an averse examination of Israel’s spiritual condition. Renowned Baptist author F. B. Meyer, through themes, comes to the text with profound illuminations of the prophet Jeremiah’s book. Some Chapters include Jeremiah’s initial call in “The Word of the Lord Came Unto Me,” an image-rich discourse on “Cistern-making,” “On the Potter’s Wheel,” and “The Fall of Jerusalem.” This is one volume of many on persons of the Bible. It examines the importance of historical events from the life of Jeremiah and offers a practical application for Christians today.
