The starting of a good story, a bit too short. Slightly confused with the different timelines in the chapters, im guessing it was to hold interest throughout the book but i think it was needed.

I'm not normally a scifi-fantasy reader but I gotta say, I really liked this book. Wouldn't mind reading more of her work.

Found myself totally immersed in the story. Mermaids! Who"d have thought to include them as central to the story. I loved it.
