A Bernie Barnes is a writer and author of poetry books and novels following a previous career in engineering, industrial and consumer sales and marketing. He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska, veteran of WW ll as U.S. Navy seaman and service as commissioned officer in U.S. Naval Reserve, retired. He is an inventor, scientist, and former CEO and corporate manager. He enjoys service to church and community. Other activities include cooking, friends and family gatherings and business interests. A Grandfather and Greatgrandfather, he now lives in California.
