Als sie weiterritten, rief mir ihr Anführer höhnisch zu: "In Jericho kannst du dir deinen Gaul wiederholen! Doch ich rate dir dringend davon ab, denn dort hättest du erst recht keine Chance gegen uns!"
In stummer Wut blickte ich ihnen nach, und mein Entschluss stand fest: Ich würde seiner Einladung folgen, denn ich war ein Bursche, der noch jedem alles mit Zinsen zurückgezahlt hatte...
