Nun ist er mit ihr im tobenden Blizzard unterwegs in die Bitter Roots. Als die Chefin des Mayflower House bei John erscheint und ihn um Hilfe bittet, kann er nicht nein sagen. May Mayflower hat nämlich einiges gut bei ihm. Und so reitet auch er in den Blizzard - ohne wirklich zu ahnen, welch ein Albtraum für ihn begonnen hat...
